Prince Ndoki Mukete has sued his brother the former Nfon of the Bafaws, elderly statesman Senator Victor Mukete over the management of the family estate. Cameroon’s The Guardian Post Newspaper that has uncovered the story reveals that hearing of the matter has been scheduled at the Meme High Court in Kumba on March 4, 2021.
This is not the first time that Prince Victor Mukete, half brother to Senator Victor Mukete is challenging his brother’s management of their father’s estate. When it came up over 30 years ago the case is said to have been thrown out for lack of evidence. But the plaintiff said the court ruled for an out-of- court family settlement of the matter. According to Prince Victor Mukete, who says he was not acting alone but with of their siblings, it is the failure to respect the courts decision by revolving the matter at home, that has pushed him to court once more.
